Girls Set Go is a STEM-focused nonprofit empowering girls through education, mentorship, and hands-on learning opportunities.
We believe every girl deserves the opportunity to explore her interests, develop practical skills, and discover what she can achieve in STEM.
Through our Tech Bootcamp, STEM Kits, Talent Academy, and student experiences, we provide the training, tools, and support girls need to build confidence, develop in-demand skills, and explore pathways in technology, engineering, and entrepreneurship.
Our commitment extends beyond the classroom. We equip girls with tools they can continue using at home, connect them with mentors, and create opportunities for continued learning, personal development, and real-world experiences.

program overview
Our flagship Tech Bootcamp combines hands-on STEM education, mentorship, and real-world learning experiences for girls in grades 7–12 across Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area. Each cohort is designed to build technical skills, confidence, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging in STEM. Through our year-round Talent Academy, girls continue developing their skills and exploring new opportunities beyond the Bootcamp.
