Girls Set Go is a STEM-focused nonprofit empowering girls of color from underserved communities to thrive and lead through education, mentorship, and opportunity.
Despite their talent and potential, girls of color from historically underrepresented communities remain significantly underrepresented in STEM — not because of lack of talent, but because of lack of access.
We support high school girls through a transformative year-round STEM Bootcamp and mentorship program that builds in-demand skills, confidence, and access to career pathways in technology, engineering, and entrepreneurship.
At Girls Set Go, we center Black girls while creating space for girls from underserved communities — including those from Hispanic, Asian, and other underrepresented backgrounds — to grow, lead, and succeed in STEM.

Our flagship initiative is a year-round STEM Bootcamp combining technical learning, mentorship, and real-world experience for girls of color from underserved communities in Chicago.
