Bilkiss Adesokan-Bakare
Instructor, AI & Robotics
Bilkiss is an AI & Robotics Trainer at Girls Set Go, where she inspires young girls to explore technology through hands-on learning and real-world problem solving. With a background in enterprise technology consulting, product strategy, and STEM education, she helps students build confidence while introducing them to artificial intelligence, robotics, and emerging technologies. Bilkiss is passionate about making STEM accessible to girls of color and creating opportunities that spark curiosity, creativity, and leadership. Through mentorship and project-based instruction, she equips the next generation with the skills and confidence to pursue futures in technology and innovation.
Queen Tane
Instructor, UI/UX Design
Queen is a UI/UX Design Trainer at Girls Set Go with over 12 years of experience in technology, product design, and digital innovation. She is passionate about helping students understand how great digital experiences are created, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and interface design. Queen combines technical expertise with a learner-centered approach, making complex design concepts accessible and engaging for beginners. Through hands-on projects and creative problem-solving, she empowers young women to build confidence, think like designers, and develop practical skills for future careers in technology and digital product development.
Girls Set Go offers a year-round tech bootcamp serving girls in grades 7–12 (ages 12–18) from underserved communities across Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area, empowering girls of color through hands-on access to STEM education, mentorship, and career exposure.
